EVB Player never uploads your media. The desktop app reads your folders directly and keeps your progress, playlists and settings in files on your computer. The browser version keeps them in your browser's storage.

The desktop app connects to the internet only to check GitHub for new versions.

This website counts page views and downloads to learn how people find it. For each one it records the page's language, the platform, the country (from the network), the website you came from, and an anonymous code that changes every day. It stores no IP addresses or browser details and sets no cookies for this.

The website uses three small cookies: one for the theme you chose, one for your system's light or dark setting, and one for your language.
